Homeschool room tour 2014-2015

A new year is upom us which means a new tweak to our classroom. In the past we had the school room upstairs for kindergarten then downstairs combined with the library and nkw this year!  We have did away with the office and made it the library. So now the school room is all school!!!!  This has made so much space. So lets see the school room.

Here's the view from the living room looking into it.

Here's my desk. We are plannimg to putnup curtians to fully close off the school room from the living room.

Here's Georges desk. Yes its seen better days but its working still.  His kimdle doesn't stay here but its where we set it to charge.

Here you see the new shelving up top and th book case. This is all home school stuff. The shelves up top are mainly arts and crafts and then the book case is curriculum. The top shelf on it is books and teachers manulas. The middle one is where the extra pieces of the curriculum go. Like blocks and flashcards. On the floor you see our bins. The yellow one is books I mame and the other 5 our the daily bins. On Sunday I will fill them with everything for the week.

Of course we are keeping with our calander. Its all nice and set up.

Here's the whole front of the classroom.

You may have noticed these little guys around the room. A set of 6 at the front of the room and one by George's desk.

These are how we know if we've had a good day or bad day. Each of the 6 are labeled Monday through Friday and then bonus. If George has a good day of school he gets a ticket from the appropriate envelope and he stores them in the one by his desk. On Friday's he can either use them to buy something from our fun Friday box or save them for a bigger prize. The bonus envelope is just that a bonus for whatever I want to hand out.

Hope you enjoyed our classroom tour.
